Agricultural Education is a major in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics.
Colorado State University focuses on two delivery concentrations in agricultural education: teacher development for school-based agricultural education and agricultural literacy.

Agricultural Education is an interdepartmental major that prepares students for educating youth and adults in the agricultural industry. Students refine their communication skills and personal qualities necessary to serve as educational leaders and managers. There are two program concentrations for agricultural education students at Colorado State University: Teacher Development and Agricultural Literacy.
